Polgar's book on combinations and progressive learning is well done and one of the best books for someone learning or even intermediate. Tal's book on his match with Botvinnik should probably be up there.ħ. Fireside Book of Chess and Chess for Fun, Chess for Blood are good story books.Ħ.

A great pleasure to read and very portable as there are enough diagrams illustrating the points that you do not. Logical Chess Move by Move is a good book but probably not no. This is one chess book I couldnt put down. It has been said that books are the most loyal and trusted friends that you can ever have and in this world of iPads, kindles and other electronic formats I still want to be one of the people giving a shout-out for hard copy chess books.
